Warren Tech, the designated career and technical education school for Jeffco Public Schools, is the springboard to a competitive edge in college readiness and career opportunities.

An extension of every high school in Jeffco Public Schools, Warren Tech's 32 innovative programs offer dynamic learning opportunities that integrate high school credit, including core academic math, science, and English, to keep students on track for graduation.

Nearly 1,600 juniors and seniors earn free and reduced-cost college credit and industry certifications, and experienced faculty work with industry partners to engage students in rigorous college-level work and professional projects, including internships and apprenticeships. Warren Tech develops students who are competitive in today’s high-tech society and global economy.

Warren Tech consists of three campuses: Warren Tech Central, Warren Tech North, and Warren Tech South

• High school students who are 16 or older by October 1 of the upcoming school year and will be entering their junior or senior year 
• Jeffco Public Schools students and Jeffco charter school students 
• Out-of-district public school students (District must enter into a contract with Jeffco Public Schools.) 
• Students attending a private accredited academic program (Before the student is enrolled in a Warren Tech program, the private school must enter into a contract with Jeffco Public Schools.)
• Students who are currently homeschooled may apply for Warren Tech only if they enroll in and attend a diploma-granting Jeffco public or charter school and are considered primary at that school. 
• Anyone who has graduated from high school, received a GED, or is 21 or older may apply for Warren Tech adult programs by enrolling through Red Rocks Community College (RRCC).

All Warren Tech programs offer 1.5 high school credits per semester (equivalent to 3 home high school courses).

Students attend Warren Tech in the morning and their home high school in the afternoon OR their home high school in the morning and Warren Tech in the afternoon. 

This schedule means students spend three hours a day or more in their Warren Tech program. Unlike traditional school schedules of 45 minutes/class, students dive deep in their learning, experiencing 15 hours each week of program content. We believe one of the greatest factors to the success of our students is the amount of time students spend with their program content.

Due to Warren Tech's unique schedule, lunch is not served at Warren Tech. Students are encouraged and allowed to enjoy snacks during break time at Warren Tech.

Bus transportation is provided to and from most home high schools to Warren Tech. Please see our Bus Routes page for more information.

No, Warren Tech is not a diploma-granting institution. All students must remain enrolled in a home high school program to attend Warren Tech, where they are awarded their diploma.

Credit earned at Warren Tech automatically roll to students' home high school transcripts. These credits count towards graduation.

Students work with their home high school counselor to add their Warren Tech program to their schedule following an offer of acceptance.

Home high school counselors are a key component in reviewing your schedule and credits to ensure that each student stays on track for graduation from their school.

Yes, most Warren Tech programs offer FREE or reduced cost concurrent enrollment credit through Red Rocks Community College, Metro State University of Denver, or Arapahoe Community College.

Jeffco Transportation Department has round-trip bus routes to and from most home high schools to each Warren Tech campus for the school year.

The only cost to attend Warren Tech are fees associated with the cost of each program. These fees cover supplies and other materials students are expected to purchase to complete the program.
