National Technical Honor Society

National Technical Honor Society (NTHS)

is the acknowledged leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education. NTHS was founded in 1984 to promote excellence in career and technical education and to lift up outstanding students. More than 25 years later, over 3,200 schools and colleges are affiliated with the society. WarrenTech joined NTHS in 1990.
National Mission:
To honor student achievement and leadership, award scholarships, promote educational excellence and enhance career opportunities for the NTHS membership.

Warren Tech Requirements for Membership:

Students who have a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher, will be invited to a meeting early in the fall semester to explore the option of joining NTHS*
Instructor Recommendation
Completion of Warren Tech program
Demonstration of scholastic achievement (program GPA 3.0 or higher), skill development, good attendance and good character
Participation in community/school service activities (4 activities per year minimum)
* Students who maintain a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher and maintain a 3.0 Warren Tech program GPA will receive a graduation cord to be worn at their home high school graduation ceremony.
