Enrollment Frequently Asked Questions

How Does the Acceptance Process Work?

  • Students are placed in priority groups and put into a lottery for each of the program(s) and/or session(s) they applied to.
  • Students are offered a seat in a program, by lottery, until the program is full.
  • Once a program is full, remaining applicants are placed on the waitlist.
  • If spaces in a program open up, students on the waitlist are offered a seat in the program until the program is full.
  • Families have three days to respond to an offer by logging back into EnrollJeffco. Families can accept only one offer.

How Are Students Prioritized for Acceptance?

Holistic review of student records, including:

  • Credits earned toward graduation requirements
  • Attendance
  • GPA/Current grades
  • Grades in specific core academic courses such as science, math, English
  • Program prerequisites
  • Behavior

Student names are then entered into the appropriate priority grouping lottery based upon Warren Tech's Enroll JeffCo Priority Groupings by program.

Note: Students attending schools other than Jeffco schools, no matter where they live, will not be enrolled in Warren Tech without a contract. The outside school or district must contract with Jeffco Public Schools to reimburse Jeffco the cost of providing education. For more information, please contact Marna Messer at Marna.Messer@jeffco.k12.co.us

Homeschool students are prioritized with Jeffco Public School students after they have enrolled in and attend a diploma-granting Jeffco school as their primary school.

Steps To Take if You Were Offered Enrollment at Warren Tech

Mandatory confirmation of enrollment is required within 3 days of our offer. Please confirm your offer in EnrollJeffco.

Steps to accept your spot:

  1. Confirm your offer ASAP through EnrollJeffco. If you cannot log in, please contact 303.982.8600, and we can accept on your behalf. If you have not accepted the offer by the deadline, you will no longer be considered for enrollment at Warren Tech.
  2. Save the date and plan to attend our New Student Orientation in April. Information was shared in a Next Steps communication from Warren Tech.
  3. Contact your home high school counselor about your acceptance so they can help schedule your home high school classes in coordination with Warren Tech for the next school year.
  4. Celebrate! Follow us on Instagram to start connecting with your new Warren Tech family.

Note: Once you accept an offer, all Warren Tech offers will be declined on your behalf. However, accepting an offer does not remove your student from any waitlists or impact their position on any waitlist. Accepting an offer to Warren Tech will not impact your full-time enrollment.

If you are unsure about accepting, we’re here as a resource. Reach out! Our best advice is to accept the offer and attend the New Student Orientation in April, where you can gain more information and make an informed decision.

Current Warren Tech students have stood in your shoes, deciding whether or not to take the leap and accept the offer. Here’s why they did!

  • “At Warren Tech, I get to do client work and have real-world experiences that apply to my learning and what I want to do with my life. You don’t have to be here. You want to be here.”
  • “At Warren Tech, you’re exploring your interests with people who have your common interest. Your classmates feel like a family because you're surrounded by people with the same passions as you.”
  • “You get college credit. You get certifications. You get prepared for college and the workforce. You learn about things that matter.”
  • “Warren Tech has made me more confident as an individual. It has changed my high school experience.”
  • “Attending Warren Tech is the best thing I have ever decided to do.”

Information About Waitlists

Warren Tech applications run through Enroll Jeffco on a lottery. We wish we could accept every student who wants to be a part of Warren Tech. Just like any school, we’re limited in our class sizes and can only accept so many individuals. What’s next now that you’re waitlisted?

  1. Offers for enrollment went out, and students are offered a seat in a program, by lottery, until the program is full.
  2. Once a program is full, remaining applicants are placed on the waitlist. (That’s you, right now.)
  3. As declines come in and if spaces in a program open up, students on the waitlist are offered a seat in the program based on their waitlist position until the program is full.
  4. You can view your waitlist status/number at any time through EnrollJeffco and will be notified if a spot opens based on your place in line.
  5. Your waitlist number may change and this is normal. Continue checking Enroll Jeffco and your email for the latest information.

Anything can happen, never say never. Spots open up, schedules change and you may still be accepted.
