Live Sound & Event Production

Overview

Are you interested in producing rock concerts at large venues? Do you love to work behind the scenes at shows and performances? Are you intrigued by the coordination that goes into producing large events for an audience? Would you like to work with real-world gear in a state-of-the-art facility under the direction of an experienced industry professional?

This program provides aspiring live sound engineers and production techs the training needed to work in professional live stage and event scenarios. Using state-of-the-art industry equipment, students will learn the major components and techniques of live sound, fundamentals of concert lighting and video content and the business roles involved in planning and executing live concerts and events.

Program Information

The classroom is the school's new theater with state-of-the-art equipment.
