Welding

Overview

Are you independent, creative, focused and coordinated? Can you envision projects in your mind, follow written and verbal instructions, measure angles and lengths and hold and control tools? Would you like to build something important, operate specialized machines, work with a team of builders and learn various types of welding?

Welding is the melting and fusing of metal into something designed for a specific purpose. Whether it is a small pipe being repaired or a huge bridge being constructed, welding is needed. Cutting tools are also used to dismantle metal items such as airplanes or automobiles.

Welders design and read blueprints to plan the technical specifications of each job. Both a science and an art, welding is a valuable skill leading to a great career. Warren Tech is an American Welding Society Schools Excelling through National Skill Standards Education (SENSE) certified school.
