Special Education at Warren Tech
Every Warren Tech program has a Special Education teacher assigned to it and a social worker available to help students be successful. They collaborate with teachers and provide services to students on an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or Section 504 plan, as well as any student who needs academic or social-emotional support.
Some examples of these services are reading tests aloud, providing copies of notes, and assistance with academic assignments depending on the individual’s needs. An essential aspect of their work is preparing students for post-secondary education and career opportunities.
